Nicola Janes is our Yogi of the Month having recently completed our 30 Day Challenge.
She says "A year ago I'd never even heard of Bikram Yoga and have now completed my first 30 day challenge! I came to BYE after doing a couple of yoga classes at my workplace and wanted to continue with yoga and just happened to stumble upon BYE as it was the nearest studio to home. I wasn't sure about "hot" yoga but thought I'd give it a go one Sunday morning. I didn't know what to expect but loved it immediately. So much so that I've since encouraged my whole family to come too!
I find that each class can be so different. I've learnt to take the good with the bad and still have moments when I ask myself "why the hell am I doing this?!" But I always feel happier after a class and I'm definitely stronger both mentally and physically than ever before.
After completing the 30 day challenge, I now realise how much I love Bikram yoga. The BYE teachers and staff are all so friendly and welcoming and the studio is nice and well maintained which keeps me coming back for more."
